Born from a passion for biltong. Built on family values.

Weskus Biltong Bar started in 2024, in a small shop in Vredendal, with a big dream and an even bigger passion for quality biltong and great-tasting meat products.

Within just a few months, our little shop outgrew its space, and we moved to a bigger, better location – a sign that something special was taking shape.

For our owners, the love for biltong and the meat industry has always been close to the heart. With roots in Namaqualand and the Boesmanland, good food, honest products and a strong sense of community are part of who we are.

Today, Weskus Biltong Bar is a small business growing fast, reaching customers far beyond Vredendal. But while we grow, we want to hold on to what got us here in the first place: quality, hard work, family and a little bit of good old-fashioned modesty.

We believe that great products speak for themselves. Whether it’s a bag of freshly sliced biltong, a piece of droëwors, or something for the braai, we want every customer to taste the care that goes into what we do.

From our small shop in Vredendal to customers across South Africa – this is our story, and we’re only getting started.
